In a previous entry I told the story of how I bought a hacked up chopper frame for $50 from a buddy a few years ago. It turns out it was a Smith Brothers and Fetrow (SBF) The Frame made by Donnie Smith's early ventures and ingeniously built to accomodate 3 different Japanese unit power plants.
I was dinking around the other day and found the above ad for SBF. It looks like Donnie and company also made a Sportster frame on the same jig as The Frame with different motor mounts and axle plates. That is great news. As far as I can tell I should be able to make a Sporty motor fit while retaining the Honda rear drum and axle adjusters.
This would be a bitchin build and something I could sell to pay back my student loans when I graduate.
