RIP Lattie Moore

Lattie Moore passed away on June 13th. He was an Indianapolis Rockabilly pioneer and wrote hit songs for George Jones (Out Of Control) and Red Sovine (Juke Joint Johnny). Here are a couple of my favorites:













I wish I could have seen him play one time. My old next door neighbor used to go see him in Fountain Square (bottom pic is at The Fountain Tavern, directly across the street from the Linkert Factory) when she was a teenager. She still had the hots for him 50 years later!
