I feel like I just got away with the crime of the century! I got these no name hikers off of eBay for $50, shipped! Best of all they will fit my wide, Fred Flintstone feet.


They are very similar to the Lone Wolfs for $625 and the Wesco Job Masters for $400 at a fraction of the price. Sorry to gloat, but I LOVE getting a bargain.

Now if I could just get some Red Wing Chukkas in black leather in my size for that price...

Indy Mile Cancelled

Sorry to hear it, but it's true. Due to the tragedy at the Indiana State Fair Grandstand the 2011 Indy Mile has been cancelled.

Not sure about my plans for the weekend. But I am bummed.

Horrific

This is the same grandstand and stage at the Indiana State Fairgrounds where the Indy Mile is held. I had a few friends present. One old friend was working as a stage hand. He was hurt, not seriously but he is very shaken up. Were it not for a family commitment my parents would have been there. All I can say is please pray for the survivors.
